Technical Sergeant Wyatt E. Duzenbury was born on April 6, 1913. He enlisted in the Army Air Corps in 1942. He served as a technical sergeant in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron and trained in Wendover, Utah. Duzenbury was the flight engineer aboard the Enola Gay in the flight to Hiroshima to drop the first Atomic Bomb on August 6, 1945. He was later awarded the Silver Cross for his military service during World War II.
