Patricia Walsh was a research assistant at the Chicago Met Lab during the Manhattan Project.

Walsh was born in 1920 in Washington, D.C. She received an A.B. in physics from Smith College before being hired to work on the Manhattan Project. At Chicago, she worked in the chemistry division. In 1945, she was present for a dangerous radioactive spill at the lab, but escaped unharmed. Walsh would also go on to work at the Argonne National Laboratory.
