Miriam Young-Krollman was a member of the Women's Army Corps and worked at Los Alamos from April 1945 to August 1946 measuring samples of radioactive materials. Young-Krollman's unit was tasked with analyzing the data brought back from Japan after the atomic bombings. After the war, she worked with Bethlehem Steel and Western Electric before retiring in 1983
