National Museum of Nuclear Science & History

Donald Mueller (1907-2004) was an American physicist.

Mueller was born in Cincinnati. He earned a B.S. from Cornell University and a graduate degree from Princeton University.

During World War II, Mueller was recruited to work on the Manhattan Project at Los Alamos. He also worked on the hydrogen bomb at the Los Alamos National Laboratory. He later worked at the Bell Telephone Laboratories and the Hartford Empire Company.

Donald Mueller died on July 21, 2004 in Pacific Grove, California.
