Teachers are required to complete all of the lecture modules, participate in all of the tours and activities, and submit an original Manhattan Project lesson plan in order to be eligible to receive graduate credit at the University of New Mexico and receive a certificate for completing the workshop. The lesson plans have been revised and uploaded on the AtomicWiki site.
Thanks to the generous support of the Office of Environmental Management of the Department of Energy, the National Nuclear Security Administration, the Kerr Foundation, the Los Alamos County Council, the Los Alamos National Bank, and the Los Alamos Laboratory Foundation, teachers from across New Mexico had a unique opportunity to tour historic Manhattan Project properties and sites (including "behind the fence" buildings not yet open to the general public), attend lectures with Manhattan Project scholars and historians, and partake in interactive curriculum planning sessions. Teachers benefited enormously from the expertise of speakers and resources provided by local museums and the Atomic Heritage Foundation. Rated almost perfectly across all activities, we hope to bring this comprehensive workshop to more teachers in the coming years.

Lesson Plan Wiki Database
In order to formally complete the program, teachers were required to submit lesson plans about the Manhattan Project to the Atomic Heritage Foundation. Their efforts, combined with the work of AHF staff, have been collected and put online in a friendly digital format. We encourage all teachers to visit our AtomicWiki to get ideas for improving their curricula and teaching the history of the Manhattan Project and World War II. To access the wiki, please click here.
