On June 20th, over 20 teachers will participate in the third Manhattan Project Teachers' Workshop in New Mexico, organized by the Atomic Heritage Foundation. Spanning four days and covering many sites in Los Alamos and Santa Fe, teachers will visit historic Manhattan Project sites, hear lectures by historians, lab personnel, and other experts, and exchange ideas for incorporating Manhattan Project history into their curricula. The Atomic Heritage Foundation looks forward to sharing these valuable resources with New Mexico teachers and encouraging them to share this important part of American history with their students.
